Memecahed Now Available for Hosting Customers

We’re now offering memcached backends, each instance runs as the user on their own custom port, secured by custom firewall rules. Many popular content management systems have free plugins which allow you to use memecached to store cacheable items (pages, database queries). It doesn’t really come any quicker either, as the pages are being served from memory.

We’re now serving premium customers files straight for electronic solid state disks, which already improves file access time, and to top it off, we’ve added in memecached instances for our customers too as an extra, we’re still pricing this, but will definitely be a market beater. Although if you feel like outsourcing your caching and content delivery to a 3rd party, we’re now a Cloudflare partner too.
